Why would we charge you more for it? At Attorney Alternatives, your corporation will be filed in 15 minutes and we will provide you with a receipt from the State of Florida.

•  We get your Federal Tax ID number from the IRS while you wait. Once again, our competitors make you wait for your number unless you want to pay them more money.

•  If you choose a package that includes a corporate book, seal and stocks, it will be delivered to your door within 24 hours. One of our largest competitors makes you drive to Miami to pick up your book. Want it shipped to you? Pay them more money!

Before you call us:

Before you call us, we recommend that you meet with your tax advisor or attorney and discuss the benefits of incorporation as well as which type of entity would be best for you. There is also a great deal of information available on the internet explaining the differences between LLCs and Corporations. We also recommend that you choose a name for your corporation and a few backup choices if your first choice is unavailable.  

Our Procedures: 

At your initial visit you will be asked to fill out some basic information we will need to file your corporation or LLC.

We will check the availability of the name you have chosen and within minutes, you will know if your first choice is available. If it is not, please have your backup choices ready.

As soon as we confirm the availability of the name you have chosen, we will file your corporation or LLC online instantly. We will print a receipt from the State of Florida Division of Corporations that you may keep for your records.

Although your corporation or LLC is filed online while you wait, the information must be approved by an employee of the State of Florida Division of Corporations. As soon as it is formerly approved by a live examiner, a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours. If the State is backlogged, it could take up to 48 hours. 

We will type IRS form SS-4 (Application for Employer ID Number) and file it online while you are in our office. We will print a copy as well as your actual ID number. Your bank will need this number to open your new corporate bank account.

If your tax advisor has recommended that you apply to be an “S Corporation”, we will type IRS form 2553 (Election to be an S Corporation) while you wait. All of the shareholders of your company will need to sign and we will provide you with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Just drop this in the mail and you will receive a confirmation from the IRS in 4-6 weeks. This service is not available online at this time. 

If you have chosen a package that includes a corporate book, seal and stocks, you will receive your book within 24 hours from the time that the email confirmation from the State of Florida arrives. We can order your book as soon as we file your corporation online but if your name is rejected by the State for any reason, you will have to order another book and the printing company will charge you. Therefore, we recommend waiting for the confirmation email.  Your book is shipped via Airborne Express or UPS and normally requires a signature upon delivery. If you will not be home during the day, we can request that your book be delivered without a signature. However, you will have to accept responsibility if the book is damaged or stolen after delivery.
